Company overview

The leading sports brand in the world on a mission to bring inspiration and innovation to every athlete in the world. We worked with the Argentine branch accountable for their LatAm flagship store in Buenos Aires.

My contribution

Tasked by Nike to develop a physical + digital treadmill experience that would allow visitors at the flagship store to test-drive new shoes and learn about their technology in an engaging brand experience that simulated a run through iconic city circuits.

As project director and principle designer for the project, I set the product vision and lead a team of 4 designers and 4 developers from research to implementation. We delivered an app environment that included 3D interactions, tablet interfases, video-recorded trail footage, a cloud based CMS and data dashboard.

The experience is fully controlled from the wireless tablet
Nike specialist using tablet to interact with video display and show selected shoes
With the experience, the user can explore an interactive 3D model of the shoe and see it's internal parts
Rotating 3D model of the selected shoe a the end of the experience
Both tablet and video display content presents useful info and animated transitions to help understand the technology behind the shoe.
